LAUREN SPIERER
20-year-old college student from Bloomington, Indiana was last seen June 3, 2011

Bloomington police are looking for 20-year-old Lauren Spierer after she went missing around 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Spierer was last seen walking from 11th Street toward her apartment building at 8th and College Avenue.

Police say she did not arrive at her apartment and video footage does not show her entering the building.

Spierer is described as a white woman, with longer than shoulder length blonde hair, blue eyes, slender build, four-feet eleven-inches tall. She was last seen barefoot, wearing a white tank top with a loose light colored button shirt over it, and black full length stretch pants.

Police officers have searched the area several times including a search with a police K-9, and spoken with businesses, workers, and residents in the area. Saturday police distributed a flyer with Lauren's picture.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 812-339-4477.

According to CNN affiliate WRTV, Spierer did not have her cell phone with her when she disappeared and her keys were found nearby. She reportedly has a heart condition that requires medication.

Police have interviewed several of Spierer’s friends and others who saw her on Thursday night, and they are reviewing text messages and emails to establish a timeline leading up to her disappearance. Bloomington police Lieutenant Bill Parker told WRTV that “there could be foul play,” but authorities do not know what may have happened to her at this point.

A website set up to assist with the search describes Spierer as 4’11” and approximately 95 lbs, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information about her is asked to contact the Bloomington Police Department at 812-339-4477.

While home for short lunch...

Brief: Feel foul play...either 1-2 guys in car - see driver kinda looking...scrunching down in seat with his head to get a look (don't quite know how to say what I'm seeing...moving one's head down a bit to get a better look). Feel there may be another guy in front seat with driver BUT I AM NOT SURE at this time. KINDA feels like a couple of blocks OR 1-1/2 or 1/34 blocks before 2nd block - so didn't make it to 3rd block to apartments. Feels like they were on a side street but may have been facing her...can't get the direction right now. will try later tonight.

MAY NOT PUT TOO MUCH INTO THIS VISION - AS NOT SURE & HURRYING TO GET BACK TO WORK.

Leaving for work...but if I can get more tonight, will post.

Want to clarify as while driving back to work, feels like one male and not from that car scene. Scenes coming in scrambled.

Have not had a chance to really do a focused session. For some reason, getting mixed up or scrambled info.

Brief: Yesterday, also got something that felt like she may have been grabbed from behind but not sure of this. Also saw someone putting hand over her mouth. Fear in her eyes. Also got something about "running" or "fast as you can". MAYBE trying to walk fast or quickly to get away from someone or something -and/or possibly could have tripped. Feel earlier, male or 2 males in car could have possibly seen her walking by...they may have been parked or driving on a side street...but cannot be sure at this time.

Pieces may not make sense or in any order at moment and could if I get furthre info as to what the male or males in car means - may not have to do with disappearance. Noting anyway.

PRAY SHE CAN BE FOUND SAFE SOMEWHERE...as I really don't know what happened to her and wish I did or could get more.

This one clearly sucked the energy right out of me. Instantly exhausted, I feel something about a man on campus...foul play, rape and I hate to say this, but dismemberment just popped into my head, like a med student who is awkward and doesn't get along with anyone. I'm seeing a shorter male with dark brown to black hair, thin build, and sometimes wears glasses. I hope I'm wrong for this beautiful young woman. I'm getting something about woods. Also getting something about 4 hours. Also got something about chloroform or some type of sedative that knocked her out. Please forgive graphic details. I believe this male to be young..22ish. Got the name Pete M. (Malgraff or something like it). I don't know who this is, or how connected.

Brief: Keys may have been dropped when surprised by this male if not left for clue/trail. May not have perp's fingerprints on them though. Beieved raped/sexual assault. Seized opportunity to take advantage. May have seen her at bar or seen/knows her from elsewhere - possibly even knows where she lived and knows of her whereabouts and may have known of her plans that night. Don't know for sure, but may have also known she would be walking that night (may if he knew or has seen her walked to residence before and knew to strike before that block). - End -

OKAY, I'm going to post this here, BUT I AM NOT SURE IT BELONGS HERE AS I THOUGHT MIGHT BE FOR ANOTHER CASE and possibly another one I've been working on but HE CAME RANDOMLY...before I heard about Lauren...BUT WHAT IS WEIRD...is that LAUREN'S picture looked kinda familiar to me when I first posted her photo and thread, but passed it off.

For the last couple of nights...I've been shown this guy...got name like PAULY or PAULIE...he tells me he is a murderer and he delights in it.

He is heavyset, but strong (maybe hispanic but could be other nationality). He is not that tall, but round faced, dark hair but more of a "shaved" look to it).

Sometimes I see him wearing a RED & WHITE horizontal shaped T-shirt w/short sleeves.

NOT SURE IT HAS TO DO WITH LAUREN as I'm still working on where he fits so I'm also going to include it in the Random Information & Interpretations Forum area.

I took a look at your woodlawn field and was shown the sand area where a lot of students maybe were studying there. But then my map started doing crazy circles and did this about 6 times and finallly stopped at the sidewalk next to the building showing me that area. I then started to pan down and it took off again until it stopped at Bryan Park tennis courts and pool when it finally stopped.This was going south.
I did not see any fences there at woodlawn and did't take an opportunity to look for any when it stopped south of woodlawn.

Was afraid you might say that...SOUTH has been strong for me.

Angel I think Hispanic - we are picking up on the same person. Since I haven't viewed / worked on any other cases other than Holly Bobo and was lead to this incident, I have to concur that we are getting the same input.

I am going to focus on Lauren now. Holly situation got pulled in a thousand different directions, some on purpose and some unwittingly. I cannot work there anymore. It's sad because so many of us poured a ton of energy into it.

Could have driven her elsewhere at another location?

Could still be alive and kept somewhere (I have not seen her killed so far so I don't know if dead or alive as my visions have been scrambled and not a full-on planned vision session - stuff coming in randomly while working).

If random and not thought out, could be quick dump.

I don't know somehow...seems somewhat planned...or maybe "prepared" or "ready" for opportunity.

I also feel there were two guys and they drove by her and then drove back by her and grabbed her. They were with her for many hours I am torn between the water and the woods it may be through the woods towards water I need to look at the map

After seeing what you get, seems possible.

When I looked at this thread earlier my first thought of the perp is not white... But I wasn't ready to say black or Hispanic... Dark skinned though, dark hair... Maybe mixed race?

I've been here a few times today and I feel disoriented each time, like drugged or drunk. The following questions pop into my head... How long was I out? (thinking passed out but then think maybe something else) What day is today? (so confused what's going on?) How did I get here? (feel familiar to the space). Panic attack? Asthma? It comes and goes. I get alive or was alive but trouble breathing; does she take asthma meds?

God bless and keep her safe until she is found.

Many thanks to PAngel for opening this thread for me....Lauren is family friend of one of my close friends, and even though I haven't met her,I see what her disappearance is doing to him and his family, and I pray she will be found safe...from all accounts she seems like a really sweet person, and my prayers go out to her and her family...I will say it is interesting to read impressions on here...I obviously want to see what you guys are getting on her, but I can honestly say that I haven't cried this hard in a long time...I get a bad vibe, and I wish I could get more info, but I don't think I am able to let myself "go there" due to the closeness of the situation...I know I have said it before, but thank you all for all that you guys do...You guys are truly amazing....

SOME NOTES FROM ABOVE VIDEO FROM TODAY

Lauren does have a heart condition and needs medication (something like that if not exact)

Lauren left her cell phone at the bar.

Also celebrities Courtney Kardashian & Ryan Seacrest tweeting for volunteers to join the search.

I get both males are hispanic/mexican... darker.... one has like very greasy hair and bad skin - acne.

They might not have done something so daring before but it's been discussed and I hear the banter between the 2 about how easy it would be. (Once again an area with lots of water and lots of woods - which is pretty much all of Indiana!) They laugh about it.

She is an opportunistic target. She's small, barefoot and alone. They basically stop, they might have asked her something so that she moved closer to the truck. I see an older truck, not a modern truck.

I see one of them in a field chewing on hay, you know like a long string of hay with that laid back kind of feeling, laughing. Not worried. I don't get that she's passed yet but she's absolutely terrified. (obviously) Ranch/farm/private property. Old wooden fence is entry to property. I know this all sounds obvious but I have never been to Indiana so can only describe what I get.

One guy is leaner and smaller than the other. I think they are Mexican.

She tells them she's sick but they just laugh. What is wrong with her?

But SOUTH of where...as initially looked at WOODLAWN so not sure if SOUTH of WOODLAWN or SOUTH of 11th & College - the reported area where they said last seen.

A PARKS & RECREATION AREA is another area I've been considering from beginning but still need to further look at as drawn to two different ones.

8778 is the type of vision I see.... in one of the maps posted I double clicked a few times down the road until I stopped at 8778. I do not remember the name of the road. Let me see if I can find it and the address.

I feel these guys or their vehicle were caught on a traffic camera or a security camera along college street. There can't have been that many vehicles on that part of the street during that time period. If LE hasn't checked for tapes, they should. I also feel the perks snatched her up and headed back the same way they came so she could be on surveillance tape in a vehicle. I would say look south of where her keys were found for a vehicle that was traveling north and thencame back from the north a short time later.

Ok a heart conditioncould be what I was feeling instead of asthma.

There are a lot of Hispanics who are transient workers and work on ranches or farms. They could be illegals who work in farming. If the vehicle isn't registered they should ask local farmers to help identify it, assuming they find the vehicle on security tapes.

I think you're hitting near or close to the area where Shellee & Tina's map coordinates - that Shellee posted last night and I just brought foward in Post #58 above.

I channeled her last night and she was completely incapacitated and truly not aware of what was going on when she was taken off the street into this car, I think she thought she was getting a ride home.

Somerset Place is about 5 miles south from where she was last seen.
Unless this man has money, which I don't feel he does, he would not live there. It is a fairly affluent area. I see him more as a rough mean man not a student. I think she may have been incapacited with her drinking that evening and just wandered away thinking she would go home.
I don't see him driving a car but walking behind her. The area near the field and fence is a run down house. He might live on 9th street.
I think they are closer than most think.

Organizers estimated more than 250 people showed up Wednesday night to help as the search for Lauren Spierer continued.

Crowds braved the 90 degree heat and humidity for the search.

Organizers appeared more like auctioneers, filling groups of five to six people. Some came alone, others came as a group already. Many were walking on foot, others planned on driving to help aide in the search.

Maps passed out by organizers showed the area west of Griffy Lake was the main location of concern for today’s volunteers.

Organizers said the entire city of Bloomington has been covered by volunteers. Some volunteers were also planning on traveling to bars today and searching there in addition to passing out fliers.

Indianapolis news reporters were on the scene, both in the crowd and across from Smallwood Plaza, taking pictures of the organizers and interviewing volunteers.

the pendulum is indicating that lauren is deceased. i do not think this was a random murder. lauren knew the killer, but this was not planned.

does anyone know if lauren was being stalked? i feel like she was.

i feel like this person only had plans to sexually assault lauren, and then things turned more serious after he realized the implications of her turning him in.

I don't know for a fact that Lauren was actually stalked,

I got something along those lines in Post #15, but I've also had other scrambled vision scenes with the 1-2 males in a car, etc.

I got this kinda RAW coming through yesterday morning on June 7th.

I'm torn with my scrambled visions between the 1-2 males in car; and 1 male grabbing her from behind - hand over her mouth.

i am getting light colored possibly white toyota corolla between the years 2000-2005.

pendulum is pointing to the line between south and southwest on the directional chart.

when i close my eyes and redowse the directional chart, it is moving closer to the line between southwest and west. haven't taken the pendulum over google earth yet, this is just what i am getting on the charts.

I'm still looking at some areas I'm considering - two different parks and recreation areas in different locations. I've even looked at Monroe Lake, but still want to drive via GOOGLE GUY and decide if I'll post. I'm still drawn SOUTH for some and with I knew why. so far the pendulum is zoning in on the wooded area near camp wapehani. its around 3 miles southwest of the last place lauren was seen. still need to double triple check the area and zoom in to a more precise location, but so far this is where i am feeling her. my eyes went directly to that area the first time i looked at the map as well, before i even dowsed.

is anyone feeling lauren in water? there is a lake in wapehani park, and the pendulum is zoning in close to it.

When I was on skype I got many things: evidence in a dump site; also lake on both sides of the road...near an old drive up motel (country inn). Again, I feel like this was a med student, socially awkward, kinda misfit. Got the name Taylor. I don't know what his involvement would be. I feel like one student feels guilty and suspects or knows something about a roomy. I'm still getting the same male, dark hair, in a white lab coat. This is why I said med student. I guess I never figured it could be a science lab coat.

I could also be picking up on some details of the girl that was killed there about 10 years ago. For some reason, I just got some type of well. Also, I keep getting that visual of water on both sides of the road, and past there; woods and water. For some reason, I got a flash of a girl tied to a tree. I don't know why.

I've been considering MONROE LAKE for couple of days now...and the VIDEO THIS MORNING mentions searching there - and WOODED AREA by there. I WAS PICKING UP ON WOODED AREA LAST NIGHT...just seems and feels strong to me.

I've been drawn to MONROE LAKE...so much, but thought maybe I'm off and was trying to find a map location (I'm not good sometimes with picking exact ccordinates or map location).

One of the PARKS & RECREATION AREAS - surrounding areas I've been looking at is PAYNTETOWN PARK & REC near my MONROE LAKE...my SOUTH areas...but maybe wasn't confident enough to post yet and keep looking around that area to see if I could get something more to confirm.

Anyway, I could entirely wrong or off, but that's one of the hot areas for me and also early on...

Although I early on felt something about WOODLAWN as posted. If a quick dump involved - but then thought not a quick dump as previusly posted - too obvious or easy to find and didn't feel as strong on that area as Monroe Lake & Paynetown Park & Rec areas within or surrounding.

There was another Park & Recreation place I looked at early on - 2 different locations.

Oh well.

Anyway, was surprised when I played the videos this morning after posting them and thought...hmmm...same area - Monroe Lake - BUT they probably have to search there anyway and may not mean anything..

This morning, makes me wonder if Lauren may have been to Monroe Lake Park or Paynetown State Recreation Park area before...but I may be off and probably shouldn't speculate.

Last night's visual I had of Lauren laying face down - seemed like she was lying "on the ground" but the visual was more of Lauren laying face down with her head turned to one side (left if facing the body visual).

A Thursday morning press conference with the Bloomington Police Department offered few revelations into the ongoing search for missing IU student Lauren Spierer.

Police remained tight-lipped concerning reports of an altercation between Corey Rossman and other unidentified males at approximately 2:40 a.m. at Smallwood Plaza the morning Lauren disappeared.

“Lauren was not involved in any altercation,” Lieutenant Parker said. BPD is not prepared to release any names of people involved in the event.

The BPD has received hundreds of tips, Parker said.

BPD is working closely with the Indiana State Police, IUPD, the FBI, Team Adam, Monroe County Sheriff Department, and the US Marshall Service, Robert Spierer said.

BPD has video footage which shows Lauren traveling north from Smallwood toward apartments at 11th and Morton Streets with an unnamed male, Parker said.

Parker refused to provide specific details concerning Lauren’s state in the video. The video shows “basically just her presence coming through the camera fields.” Parker said BPD is considering releasing video footage to the press.

Police would also not release any names of individuals who are mentioned as persons of interest in the case.

There are approximately 10 persons of interest who have been “generally cooperative” with the BPD. Some of them have hired attorneys.

Corey Rossman has a personal page up on the IU website - seems to be for a real estate business that may or may not be real (seems like a class project). Is full of typos and misspellings, and the photo he chose of himself to put up there has him drinking a beer. I am not getting a good feeling from this young man.

I don't feel a good outcome in this case, I am sorry to say. Everything points to alcohol, poor judgment and a crime of opportunity. Wallet and keys are dropped when she is taken.

And it looks like those who see water are correct. The police are searching Lake Monroe again in response to a tip.

Lake Monroe has several roads leading into its shores from Bloomington. If the person who took Lauren there was local, there are numerous access points that don't seem to have many homes or businesses around. There is a State Park there as well.

Someone posted on the first page that they got the name "Michael" - apparently Corey Rossman's friend and roommate Michael was now the last person to see Lauren alive:

when i ask the pendulum if corey rossman killed lauren it points to no. when i ask if he knows what happened to lauren it points to yes. when i ask if his roommate michael killed lauren it points to yes and i get chills. i do think corey rossman may have helped dispose of lauren's body. i think she was sexually assaulted by both of these men. i wonder if one of them drives a white toyota corrolla?

According to press reports, Rossman's car is a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's looking like Michael Beth was the last person to see her alive, and may be the person seen walking with her on camera.

it is hard to tell from that photo, but it appears michael also has dark blonde hair. wow he graduated with masters of business from harvard? to be honest he does seem creepy and dorky looking at that photo.

it seems like he would have to appear as if he was trying to find her or even more fingers would be pointing at him. makes sense to me. he would look guilty as hell if he didn't have that as his profile picture. i bet his lawyer told him to do it.

From the description in the article and the photo, it seems like he is the follower in this friendship. I am sure you have known guys who have that sort of dynamic going on.

From reading coverage about this morning's news conference, they seem to be casting their nets wide and don't have any solid leads. Spoke with my friend who is also gifted and he says she is surrounded by trees and it was a quick dump, not buried. Maybe this makes sense to someone....

Thanks for your post. Not from my psyhic vision information - but from my human mind (logic), didn't think would be quick dump as too easy and obvious to find.

However, one of my visuals the ohter night was of her lying face down on her stomach (not on her back) with head turned - seemed like on the ground (not buried) so I find your post interesting in that respect.

Yes, Monroe Lake State Park and surrounding areas - Paynteown State Rec Park (whatever you call it) is exaclty where I've been hot on from the beginning, but held back posting right away - as was still researching the area to see if I could find a more direct area, wanted to be more sure but had informed Shellee.

That's why I was quite surprised when I found out later that they were actually searcing Monroe Lake Park. Although I could be completely off or wrong, but SOUTH and Monroe Lake Park & surrounding area is where I felt SOMETHING...now, if it's Lauren...or maybe something else, I can't say. Just has been so strong for me.

Before work this morning, when I was up early posting video updates in the forum (sometimes don't have the time to listen to them though), I ALSO HAD VERY STRONG FEELINGS about someone - who's lying - BUT NOT SURE NOW if it was the BOYFRIEND or the other guy.

So think I'm confused now as to which one for sure by name.

When I get home for lunch today, will replay video to see which one I was strong on.

Although I also feel more involved (or if not actually involved- know something). My guess would be about 3 males - but not sure because of scrambled visions with 1-2 males in car; another vision of a male grabbing from behind (not in a car) - but could be same male, but thought was Hispanic (darker skin - not white) but it was night in my early visions.

apparently the fight that occurred that evening was between corey and friends of lauren's boyfriend. did corey and mike want to get revenge on them for that fight? could this be part of the motive?

I was looking into Lake Monroe from the posts above -- There is a place called Pine Grove boat ramp. Does anyone know if Lake Monroe area has any post markers - like the ones that you see on a bike or walking path. My partner gets an image of a wooden stake-like marker that is maroon-red in color?

BLOOMINGTON - When Bloomington police said Corey Rossman was one of the ten persons of interest in the Lauren Spierer disappearance, Smallwood Plaza Apartments - where Lauren lives - ran their records. They found a match.

"It rang a bell. Safe to say it rang a bell," said Smallwood spokesperson Ernie Reno. "Our management folks, as soon as they saw the name, (said) they are familiar with this young man."

In fact, Rossman had been banned from the building indefinitely under a no-trespass order from Smallwood security. He never should have been inside the night Lauren disappeared.

"According to the (order), he had no business here," Reno said.

Police arrested Rossman at Smallwood on October 31, 2010 for public intoxication. Then, on May 1st of this year, security says he urinated in the facility's parking garage and was escorted from the apartment complex. Those incidents led to him being banned him from the building.

But Rossman was in Smallwood on the night Lauren vanished, and reportedly got into a fight which was caught on camera. He was one of the last people to see Lauren.

Accompanied by his attorney Friday afternoon, Rossman gave a DNA sample at the request of Bloomington Police. "I just hope that they find her as soon as possible and I'm praying for her and her family," Rossman told Eyewitness News.

A reporter asked Rossman if he had anything to do with Spierer's disappearance. "Absolutely not. That's all I can say," replied Rossman.

"I think the police are trying to collect evidence for maybe future reference from a lot of people and that's certainly good police work," said Rossman's attorney Carl Salzmann.

Rossman is not considered a suspect. Police say no one is right now. But newly-added to the persons of interest list: Jesse Wolff, Lauren's boyfriend of two years.

Back at Smallwood, security turned in 200 pages of data logs to police Friday, recordings who went in and who went out during the 48 hours surrounding Lauren's disappearance. It's all potentially key information to finding Lauren Spierer.

"Whose card was used? You know, how did, if she didn't have her card, how did she access the building," Reno explained

You know what struck me with these cases - Holly, Lauren....... do you notice a pattern of things we are investigating. Young people and college students, need to implement a buddy system. These girls are taken - almost always into wooded areas with water. If you live in a state that has these as a backdrop, couldn't the universities and families implement a buddy system? I know it sounds silly but a lot of these girls are taken in broad daylight, others in areas where there are lots of people. It's scary.

The other thing I wanted to say is I wouldn't be surprised if sometimes our wires get crossed when working on different cases. I sometimes have residue from a previous case or I pick up on other crimes, locations that are pertinent cases.

It's so frustrating. I need to find a way to hone in and out of different cases which I haven't been able to do, because of a lot of similarities in different cases. I'd like to ask the others how the work only on a specific case and turn out the lights/input from other cases of similar nature?

I have a sense that the factors that came into play with this girl were: a) alcohol; b) a false feeling of security or of never being vulnerable.

I've worked with teenagers for several years and I've noticed a couple things. First of all, many young people experiment with drink and/or drugs once out of their parents' sight, and if raised in a somewhat sheltered environment, will do so to excess once they are away from home. I've worked in both economically privileged and disadvantaged schools, and it has been my experience that the more privileged kids are more apt to become involved in incidents where alcohol (or drugs) and some kind of complete lack of common sense combine for terrible tragedy. I work in an inner city school right now; the girls seem very aware of the fact that even though our neighborhood is fairly safe, they live in a city where bad things can happen, and as a rule they take precautions like traveling in groups, etc. These are kids that often have been touched by tragedy or random violence somewhere in their lives and have no illusions about their safety. When I worked in a wealthy suburb, kids of the same age took the most alarming chances all the time, and we had several incidents each year involving alcohol, drugs and tragedy or near-tragedy. As cynical as it sounds, I think there needs to be more instruction on the middle school and high school level of practical self-protection and self-defense skills for young people. They need to learn certain lessons about deadly combinations in behavior, and skills that could save their lives, no matter what their sex or size. They should always be aware of their surroundings, and there should be someone in the group or duo capable of making correct decisions about these things.

When I look at her photo, I feel a coldness and a heaviness of heart, a tightness in the chest and regret. There was a chain of events that spiraled out of control, beyond saving, due to a poor choice. I think it is important to pray for light and guidance for her family, law enforcement and searchers and friends, that they may be guided towards discovery.
