This case has always bothered me. I used to live in Or. and one day came across these two little girls while looking at missing children. They have never recovered the bodies of these little ones, and it breaks my heart.

I have always thought these guys were killed and disposed of some where near the mom, I will keep looking for more links in regards to this case. This link is very informative though.

April 4, Shaina and Shausha, along with their mother, Kimyala Henson, departed from Portland, Oregon for a two-week vacation to British Columbia, Canada. Plans were to travel with a friend of Kimyala’s, Christina Mayer and Christina’s husband, Curtis, whose real name was Frank Oehring.


April 5, everyone traveled together to Sacramento to pick up Kimyala’s birth certificate and then spent the night in Redding, California at Shasta Lodge.


April 20, Oehring and Mayer were discovered at a Collier County, Florida rest stop, both with gunshot wounds to the head. Mayer was dead on scene and Oehring died shortly after. Authorities determined this to be a murder/suicide.


Found during the search of the vehicle, were letters written by Oehring detailing the plan to steal Kimyala’s birth certificate and for Mayer to assume her identity.


April 28, Kimyala’s remains were found 60 miles outside of Reno, Nevada, beaten and shot to death. A search of the area left no clues to the location of the children. Kimyala’s blood was found in Oehring’s car and they are believed to be responsible for her death.


There is nothing to show that the children traveled with Oehring and Mayer on their trip to Florida. Both children’s car seats and birth certificates were missing and have never been recovered. It is not known if the children were harmed or sold to other individuals.

satan worshipers?

Has anyone heard any updates on these two baby girls? The family was last seen headed for Sacramento, CA 4/4/01... and they haven't been seen since. The mother's body was found 4/29/01, but the girls have vanished with out a trace.

I was doing some searches, didn't come up with much, I can't find any details on the crime scene where the mother was found, how she was killed or anything on the investigation into her death.

Kim Henson and her children Shaina Ashley Kirkpatrick, 2, and 3-month-old Shausha Latine Henson disappeared last Friday while traveling with her friend, Christine Noel Mayer, and Meyer's boyfriend, Frank Oehring.

Oehring, 28, and Mayer, 24, both of Missouri, were found shot Friday at the picnic area near Collier Seminole State Park in Naples, Fla. Police have not yet ruled if the deaths were a murder-suicide or a double homicide.

Oehring's ex-wife, Benita, told the Naples Daily News Wednesday that Oehring was a high priest and that Mayer was a priestess who followed him into satanism starting around 1994.

Frank Oehring was released from jail on $100,000 bond in February after being charged with hiring a man to kill his then-pregnant wife.

Oehring went to stay with Mayer and missed a March court date, running away to Portland instead, where the two hooked up with Henson.

Its a link from 2001 just a few days before the mothers body was found.

I hadn't heard any deatils surrounding the dissapearances, but this cult theory is new to me. I can't find any further info of whether this was a double murder or suicide homicide. If anyone can help, or knows any new details please let me know.

I can't stand the idea that these two little baby girls were just taken from their mother and dumped somewhere. I can only hope they are alive, somewhere, being cared for by someone.

Testing was done on a bloodstained hatchet found in Mayer and Oehring's car. The blood was identified as Kimyala's. Neither Sausha nor Shaina's blood was present. Authorities believe that Mayer and Oehring traveled to Florida alone during April 2001. Motel receipts indicate that the girls were not accompanying them at the time. Shaina and Shausha's car seats have never been recovered and their birth certificates are missing. Authorities do not know if Mayer and Oehring harmed the children or sold them to other individuals. Shaina and Shausha's cases remain unsolved.

The paper trail winds through Utah, Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida, leading to its bloody end at the Naples rest area. "Those kids are somewhere between and Florida," Groepper said. "They could be anywhere."

Oehring was a fugitive from Missouri, where he was supposed to stand trial on March 7 on charges that he conspired to kill his ex-wife.

I have a theory about these two children! In light of Jaycee Lee Dugards being in the headlines and we now know her abductor and a bit about his past! Phillip Garrido was arrested in Lake Tahoe,NV (1976) and at the time of his arrest, his address was 1855 Market St., Reno,Nevada which is only 38 miles from Fernley, where Kim Hensons body was found, so my guess is that it's safe to say Garrido knew these areas well. Neighbors of Garrido in Antioch,CA (where Jaycee was kept, 1554 Walnut Ave) are telling reporters that besides Jaycee and daughters living in the backyard, there were 2 younger (around 4 and 5 year olds) living with Garrido. Could it be that Garrido came across Kim and the girls in Reno, in 2001 and killed Kim and kidnapped the girls? Or he met with Oehring and Mayer? Would it seem ignorant of me to inform the FBI of my suspicions? I do believe Oehring and Mayer had something to do with Kims murder, as well, but what happened with the girls, seems like a Garrido idea!

I have previously done charts on these two little girls and misplaced them. I recall them saying the children were both murdered, I will re do charts though and put them up for you guys to work with too.

I don't think that the Garrido idea is too far fetched. If there were reports of these two little one running around then where are they? I wonder if it was ever determined, or if Jaycee was ever asked?

Dad optimistic missing tots are OK

RENO -- The father of two children missing for more than a month isn't giving up hope they are alive, even as an exhaustive search continued in the desert near where the mother's body was found.

"I'll grieve when we know we've lost them and I will hold out hope that the kids are OK somewhere," Steven Curtis Kirkpatrick told the Reno Gazette-Journal.

"My biggest hope is that whoever has the children doesn't know they are being looked for. Those little girls are sorely missed and very loved," he said from his home in Portland, Ore.

Kirkpatrick's girlfriend, Kimyala Henson, 21, was found partially buried in the desert April 29, nearly a month after she was last seen alive with 2-year-old Shaina Ashly Kirkpatrick and her 4-month-old sister, Shausa Henson.

They spent the night of April 5 at a motel in Redding, Calif., with a couple who died April 20 in a murder-suicide in Florida. Washoe County Sheriff Dennis Balaam said the dead couple, Frank Oehring, 28, and Christina Mayer, 24, are the only suspects in Kimyala Henson's slaying.

She was shot to death and left in the desert 60 miles northeast of Reno where her body was found by a motorist who had pulled off the road.

Searchers covered about 100 square miles in the area over the weekend and spent another six hours in the area on Wednesday but found nothing. The Search and Rescue team, aided by dogs, the department helicopter and 25-40 volunteers returned on Thursday but had no success.

Kirkpatrick said he last saw Kimyala Henson and his daughters April 4, when they left Portland with Oehring and Mayer on what was supposed to be a sightseeing trip to British Columbia.

He said Mayer was a childhood friend of Kimyala Henson's, who showed up at their home with a man she called "Curtis" and said was her husband.

"I didn't know them at all," Kirkpatrick said. "Nobody knew Frank. He was introduced to us as Christina's husband Curtis. We had no reason not to believe them."

Kirkpatrick learned about Kimyala Henson's death on Tuesday. But he began to suspect foul play April 20 when Florida investigators notified them of the couple's deaths.

Detectives originally thought Mayer was Henson, after finding the younger woman's identification on her body. But Mayer did not have a heart-with-wings tattoo that helped investigators identify Henson.

Kirkpatrick was in limbo during the two weeks it took to find and identify the woman.

"I would sit there waiting by the phone waiting for someone to call and tell me Kim was dead, or for Kim to call me and tell me she was OK," Kirkpatrick said. "The not knowing kept me from grieving. It's the not knowing that really gets to you."

And the not knowing continues as he awaits news about the girls.

"I bounce all over the place," he said. "One moment my feeling is that they are dead, the next moment I think maybe they are with Kim's friends in Sacramento. Maybe they were dropped off at a church somewhere.

"She was a very good mother and wouldn't leave the children anywhere she didn't feel they wouldn't be taken care of."

His oldest daughter had just learned to talk in the months before she disappeared.

"She would pick up words like you wouldn't believe," he said. "If you said the wrong word, it would be her new favorite word.

"She loved to have her picture taken and would smile for anybody. She was such a sweet little girl."

Christine Mayer called her family from Miami on Easter weekend and told her uncle that she was scared, running out of money and she wanted to come home, her mother said Wednesday.

Six days later, the 24-year-old Missouri woman was found shot to death — a single gunshot wound to the left temple — at a Collier County picnic area on U.S. 41 East. Her boyfriend, 28-year-old Frank Oehring, a Satan worshipper, was found shot in the head next to her and died later that day.

"She sounded like she was scared or anxious. I could hear the fear in her voice," said her uncle, Walter Parton, from his home in Missouri where she called as he recounted the 10-minute-long conversation he had with his niece April 14. "She said she only had $40 in cash and just a few minutes on her calling card."

Investigators have already said that Mayer, whom her family described as being "brainwashed" into Satanic worship, was most likely murdered by Oehring. They are expected to rule Oehring's death a suicide today.

But the whereabouts of a 21-year-old Portland, Ore., woman, Kimyala Henson, and her 2-year-old and 4-month-old daughters are still a mystery. The five had been traveling together since April 4 when they left Portland.

Mayer's family was told that she had gotten a fake identification in Nevada, using Henson's name and personal information with Mayer's photograph. A national manhunt is on for Henson and her children.

Mayer called around 5 p.m. as her family in Missouri was planning their Easter Sunday dinner.

Parton said he tried to question her a little more when she'd only say she was "down south." Then she said "way down south" and finally told him she was in Miami.

"I think I could hear the ocean behind her or maybe it was the wind," the 41-year-old Parton recalled. He said he believed that she thought she was calling from an outdoor pay telephone. She never mentioned Oehring, Henson or the girls, he said.

He said the family would help her get home, either sending her a couple of hundred dollars for a bus or airplane ticket. And they'd help her out of her financial problems.

"She said she knew she was going to jail because she had written three bad checks," Parton said. The checks were written in Missouri, Colorado and Wyoming, she told him.

Mayer said she'd call back in an hour, the Parton family said.

"But we never heard from her again," said her mother, Regina Parton.

Oehring, whose former wife said he was a leader of a small group of Satan worshippers around their hometown of Bethany, Mo., had been trying to lure Mayer into practicing the rituals. Her mother said she's sure he tried to brainwash her into believing in his religion.

"He was taking her to his church where they practiced it. He prayed over her," Regina Parton said. "He had her listen to tapes while she slept. He was trying."

Mayer was raised as a Christian, mostly in the Assembly of God church, her mother said. She'd grown up in the Midwest, although she had moved to Portland in 1991 and stayed there about two years. They lived next door to the Henson family and the girls and their mothers became good friends.

Mayer had moved back to Portland for about a year in 1993 and lived with Henson and her mother, helping take care of Henson's sisters' children.

"She would never, ever hurt those children, if that's what people are thinking happened," Regina Parton said.

But about a year ago, she met Oehring.
"She fell madly in love with him," her mother said.

At one point in their relationship, Oehring took Mayer to his home and proposed that she live and have a relationship with both him and his wife. But his wife, who had Oehring arrested on domestic violence charges in June, decided to move out.

"I asked her if he was a Mormon or something," Regina Parton said. "When she said he wasn't, I asked her what God he worshipped."

She said her daughter replied: "There are many gods."

When Oehring was arrested in December for allegedly plotting to have his estranged wife, Benita, killed, Mayer stood by him. She even visited him in jail with Oehring's parents. In February, Oehring was released on $100,000 bond and went to live with Mayer and her mother at their home in Stewartsville, Mo.

Mayer told her mother that she was going to marry Oehring so she wanted him to move into their house.

"She said she wanted me to accept him," Regina Parton recalled.

He lived there about two months — until late March when they left town.

"Frank would never talk to us," Parton said. "When they came in, they just went back to the bedroom. And she was so withdrawn."

Parton said Oehring made sure that she was never alone with her daughter and often he followed Mayer around the house to make sure she was never alone with her family.

Regina Parton said in the past she and her daughter had talked about everything and when she first heard about the Satanism, the rituals and the tarot cards Oehring was into, she thought she had talked her daughter out of being involved.

"What he was into was evil and wrong," she said. "I thought I had convinced her to go back to church, our church."

She said he brought his Satanic ritual paraphernalia into her home and she forbade it. They put the items into a blue bag and carried it in and out of the house, Mayer's mother said.

"She never said she was scared. He fed her a line of bull," she said. "She was just a young girl."

She said Oehring even asked Mayer's mother to listen to his "relaxation tapes." Her daughter would wear headphones at night while she slept listening to the tapes.

"All I heard when I listened was a throbbing, buzzing sound," Parton said. "She told me to give it time. Chris said she heard words: 'I am loved. I am cherished. I am beautiful.' I never heard that."

Regina Parton said she knew Oehring was due in court at the end of March. They told her he was due there on March 23, when actually the court date on the conspiracy-to-commit-murder charge was two days earlier.

She remembers the two coming home around 3 a.m. March 20. They both seemed sick with the flu and were vomiting and had diarrhea. She said her daughter, who had worked as a certified nurse's assistant, asked about her unemployment check, which wasn't due until the end of the week, March 23.

Regina Parton said she knew her daughter was worried about some outstanding checks on a bank account she shared with Oehring. When her mother told her she'd see her in the morning, Mayer said, "maybe." And that was the last time she saw her daughter.

On March 23, the sheriff came with court papers to serve Oehring. And the next day, authorities came with an arrest warrant for his failing to show up in court.

Regina Parton said she believed that they thought he'd be cleared of the criminal charges.

"They were going to Canada after that was all over with," Parton said.

Mayer never telephoned family members or wrote to them. Parton said she thinks that the couple went to Oregon to visit Henson and somehow Henson was talked into going along. Family members have said the trip was to go from Portland to California to pick up a birth certificate for Henson so she could get into British Columbia where they were going to go sightseeing.

"My daughter loved her friend," Parton said. "I honestly believed that if he hurt (Henson), my daughter struggled with him."

In Portland on Wednesday, police collected copies of Henson's signature and her dental records, Henson's family and friends say. Her signature on a credit card receipt showed up last in Nevada, according to the paper trail along interstates in what is called the "southern corridor" or roads across the United States.

"I think they wanted that just to be sure to have it," said Christine Shaw, who is the sister of Henson's boyfriend, Steven Kirkpatrick. The missing children are her nieces.

She said word of Oehring's Satan worship has the family even more distraught over the three disappearances.

"We're thinking, 'Could he hurt the babies? Or could one of his friends in this cult or whatever it was?' " she said.

I do not feel as though the children are alive - as though their energies passed a long time ago. The children were "dumped" before their mother was killed.

This ones going to keep me awake all night. These people were very naive. Why would she suffer a road trip with two little ones and a Satan worshipped. As a mom I try to imagine she put her and herself at risk for a incredible reason. Sightseeing? No. She was promised something great for her children. 21 years old... Murdered at at rest stop in Nevada. Other adult passengers murdered in Florida. From Missori. leaving Oregon to Canada to see sights. They had plans to sell the kids in Florida. Low on money she calls uncle. 6 days before found. Never calls back. I believe the kids were with her when she made call to uncle. This story needs to be out for people to see. Oprah needs to be notified. Sylvia Browne. I must get answers the suspense is worrying me and I'm feeling the pain of the family. Please.

I know this story has disturbed me for YEARS I have never gotten these babies and this young mother out of my mind.

I wonder how much work went into the investigation because the crime happen in different locations. How many police forces are investigating this?

Mom beaten and shot. I think he was beating her because she couldn't shut the kids up. Imagine this man is a fugitive with a pregnant wife in missori that he tried having killed, on the run with girlfriend. They decide to hide in Canada and use hensons identity. They plan on killing her after getting her birth certificate.

Ok, kids are crying and fussy his blood is boiling. When they come to a stop he tells his girlfriend to dump the kids while he take care of mom. He beats her and shoots the kids burying them in the desert. Animals scattered the remains of the little girls. I think mom was shot at the site she was found at. I would love to look at the evidence photos and police report. After seeing pictures of the guy and his girlfriend I couldn't be happier that they ended up dead.

The baby is still alive, but I am having a hard time getting read on the other one. I keep feeling "adoption" and "black market/underground" but the baby doesn't feel like she was adopted out to some scum of the earth but more like a decent family who couldn't make it through the channels for a legal adoption. I guess it's like jumping through hoops and almost nearly impossible to adopt within the unites states. I'm seeing the number 10,000 and feels like a dollar amount they the family may have paid for the child. I am seeing a home, it appears white or very light in color, 2 story. Treed line, quiet neighborhood. She was loved and I do not feel that the family knows how the child was obtained, at least not originally when they made the deal. I am feeling alot of fear coming from the female and much guilt. I guess she saw it on the news several years back and realized what happened but didn't want to turn the child in. I'm seeing a type of concealment , basically moving to a small area, changing names, ect. I am seeing 3 children all together. One feels biologically theirs. Her sister may be with her and this family. The female who sold them needed to get rid of them quick. As sick as it sounds, it was almost like a buy one get one free deal. I think the female originally asked for more and there may have been some bartering, but basically had to get rid of the older on quickly. Still can't get a good read on the older one. I think the "mother" may have had a miscarriage in the past. Something about complications with pregnancies. The male appears to be clean-cut, corporate type. I am seeing something in referance to a bank, but now switching to buisness. He may have worked for a bank in the past. For her, I am picking up waitress, this also feels past and now seeing her doing some type of teaching, but she may be homeschooling her children or tutoring them. She loves children. I think she wanted 6 all together.
For a location I just an "m" reference. I thought it was Maine at first, but may be Maryland, for it feels further south.
I read the comment about satanism but I do think what happened was evil but nor the works of satanist. This feels more underground and money making. I am also feeling this was premeditated or planned. The family was already promised the baby and waiting. The victim knew this woman. Not to well or for very long but she seemed to trust her. It feels like a newer friendship and the connection was becoming stronger but not completely set yet. This feels to be part of a small human trafficking ring. They feel to be responsible for other kidnappings as well, but small enough to keep under the radar. This will change however, they are very greedy and are getting confident, wich means they will soon become careless. I just saw a child in water. There is a bridge near-by and the child may have been thrown from the bridge. This may be the older child, or another child they couldn't get rid of. I don't think they took the older child. Something about justifying the older child. Apperently this had been planned out by everyone. The bridge is huge, like the St.Louis Bridge, but I don't think it is that bridge. I am being shown further down south. Mississippi river and down into Florida. I will have to check the map and see if the river runs through Florida.
The spirit of the victim just came. There is alot of anger around her. It feels like she will not rest until her children are found and she has had her vengeance. I think "pissed" is an understatement. I am also being shown a male accomplice. The female didn't do this alone. I just heard "abusive boyfriend". I do not think the victim every really met the guy but the female may have played upon her sympathy saying that she had a BF that beat her. I guess kids aren't the only thing they are trafficking, I am also picking up on drugs and guns. I'm seeing the suspect as brown hair, really thin, although it is switching to blonde and heavier, this feels more present. She changed her appearance.
I'm being shown the river again and am seeing a type of black bag, possibly a type of duffle bag, no, like a suitcase, that type of material. They may have put the child in it and into the river. There may be something silver, like a silver colored weight, something heave and kind of long inside. Also some heavy rocks. The point was to make sure it sank. It may be near the bridge, in the water. Possibly about a 100 feet. It may also be caught on some type of plant materiel. It looks like a type of seaweed, but for fresh water? This is all I am getting for now.

ok, so I went back after getting my impressions and read some of the posts above and I now know where the satanism came from. From the quotes statement and what was described, it sounded like dude was more into paganism then satanism. Satanist often do not worship many gods, they usually serve one god, from my understanding, some would be satan, but many are humanist and really are more into self worship. There also appears to be no sign of ritual abuse on the victim and I do not know if any ritual tools were recovered. People don't usually throw away their ritual tools. You can also get a better idea of what they practiced by the tools and correspondents, herbs, stones, ect that they use and the symbols they carve into their tools and candles. Satanist typically don't give people meditation tapes that promote peace and love. My conclusion is dude wasn't a satanist. However, though many Pagans are also not into hurting people, drugged out people are. Everyone also follows their own ethical laws and he may have practiced a more grey or darker form of magick or was merely a practitioner but not part of a religious structure. A solitary practitioner, I have no doubt. and may not follow the typical laws. There is much speculation and misinformation from other religions about paganism and often look at Paganism and Satanism as one in the same. I have no doubt these two had a hand in this and was part of the set-up, however, there is still another male involved in the background and this may be the male I was picking up on that was hidden or never seen. Possibly the ring leader who is still doing this. In fact, he may be the one who shot the male and female, but not the victim. I will come back to this and try and focus more on the children. Their location is priority right now.
